Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open Tuesday through Friday 10:30-5:30, and Saturday 10:30-5:00. Our purchasing hours are between 11:00-5:00. We are closed Sunday and Monday.
Q: What is the easiest way to find you?
A: We are just off I-5 exit 199; from the freeway drive east one block to Beach Street, turn right (south) at the ARCO AM-PM, and drive 2 blocks to 2nd Street. Check "Contact Us" page for directions and map.
Q: What kinds of things do you buy?
A: Our main business is fine jewelry. We also buy dental gold, scrap gold, sterling silver, vintage costume jewelry and coins. You are welcome to bring your items by anytime during our business hours. Keep in mind we stop buying 30 minutes prior to closing.
Q: Can I get a loan on my jewelry?
A: We do not offer loans or loan services. We buy outright and pay cash.
Q: Are you a pawnshop?
A: No, we are not a pawn shop. We buy outright and pay cash for your gold, silver, sterling silver flatware and coins.
Q: Do you take jewelry on consignment?
A: No, we buy your fine and costume jewelry and pay cash on the spot!
Q: Do you pay cash for gold?
A: Yes!
Q: How much do you pay for gold and silver?
A: The price of gold and silver fluctuates by the minute. We watch the market, take into consideration the karat and value of the stones before we can make a valid offer.
Q: How do you know if it's real gold, silver or gemstones?
A: Our buyer has gemology and metals training and more then 25 years experience in the jewelry industry. We also have testing kits that identify the diamonds or gold.
Q: How does the "trade" work?
A: Every situation is different. That being said, bring your item in and our buyer will evaluate it and make you an offer of cash or trade. If you choose the "trade" option, you may use it on that day for a purchase or payment on a layaway, or you may choose to use at a later date. Either of these options are fine.
Q: What is your lay-away policy?
A: We ask for a deposit of 10% of the price, and regular monthly payments on the balance. We charge no interest or fees, and you have up to 12 months to pay off the item.
Q: What if I change my mind about my lay-away?
A: You can cancel your lay-away at any time; your payments and/or trade-in credit are available for you to apply to any other merchandise in the store at that time or in the future. We do not offer cash refunds after 30 days.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, VISA/MC, American Express, Discover, credit or debit are all fine. You can mail in payments toward your lay-away, and we'll gladly take your bank card payment by phone as well.
Q: When does my store credit expire?
A: Never! Your store credit is good indefinitely, as long as you have your receipt. This is true for gift certificates as well.
